The Cyclone Amphaan has caused great damage in both West Bengal and Odisha specially in the rural areas. Houses,shops, livestock, crops and infrastructure have been affected and many families have seen their livelihoods destroyed. This coupled with the already existing covid threat is burgeoning into a disaster of massive proportions.

TAF has already started preliminary relief activities with immediate basic essentials and medical supplies in the affected areas of the North 24 Parganas region. A leading medical professional from Kolkata who is associated with us and is very familiar with the area will help conduct the relief activities and camps, that we will be setting up in the immediate future.
